Mac

Import Directly in Hit Em Up App

Importing a spreadsheet to Hit Em Up on a Mac is easy. You have a couple choices. Hit Em Up has a built in import function. The easiest is to Click + New on the Conversations home page and select "Import CSV."

*Note: You will need to save your excel document as a CSV (an option in the menu: File > Save As in Excel, Numbers, and Google Sheets)

Import to Mac Contacts which Syncs Automatically to Hit Em Up on All Devices

Mac comes pre-equipt with an app called Contacts

From there, you can hover your mouse over iCloud on the left side bar press the plus button to create a new group and give it a name. Drag your CSV or VCF file to this window and follow the on screen instructions. As soon as your contacts appear there, they will appear on your Mac Hit Em Up App and will ALSO sync to iPhone (sometimes its slightly delayed by iCloud, but you can force refresh your iPhone to reflect those changes by pulling down inside your Phone app).

Android

Import Directly in Hit Em Up App

Importing a spreadsheet to Hit Em Up on Android is easy. You have a couple choices. Hit Em Up has a built in import function. The easiest is to Click + New on the Conversations home page and select "Import CSV." Then locate the file in your File Manager on your Phone.

Import to Google Contacts which Syncs Automatically to Hit Em Up on Your Android Phone

Login to Google Contacts

From there, you can create a "label" (what Google calls Groups) and give it a name. Import your CSV or VCF (VCard) to that label using the import option. As soon as your contacts appear there, they will appear on your Android Phone that is signed into the same Google Account. Once on your Phone, Hit Em Up will automatically recognize that group when you open the app.
